Cate Savard is one of our favorite designers for fun, fashion-forward, cold-weather knits! As the weather turns, we are definitely reaching for cozy super bulky yarns that feel like a warm hug.
The Eco Beanie & Primaveral Headband patterns bring the party to your needles & are incredibly gratifying to knit. Both of the patterns use super bulky weight yarn & are wonderful for extra yardage left from another project. They are also wonderful stash busters.
Some favorites to create your own color or texture montage include Hedgehog Fibres Super Bulky, Malabrigo Rasta, Malabrigo Caracol & Manos del Uruguay Franca.

Sizes: 0-6 months, 6-12 months, Toddler, Child, Adult
- 35-65 yards of super bulky yarn
- Size US 13, 16” circular + double point needles
Primaveral Headband:
*also includes instructions for bulky weight version
- 20 yards (about 32g) each of two colors super bulky weight yarn
- Size US 15, 16” circular needles
