Fixing Knitting Mistakes Workshop
Saturday, October 19, 10am-12pm
There is nothing more frustrating than happily knitting along & coming across a mistake that you are not sure how to fix. Join us at this empowering workshop where our instructor will take you through common knitting mistakes. Learn to spot & identify the issue & then understand how to approach & implement a fix.
The following will be covered in the 2 hour, hands-on workshop:
- Identify a dropped knit or purl stitch, then pick up & correctly repair.
- Change an incorrect knit stitch to a purl stitch & vice versa.
- Identify & repair a twisted stitch.
- Correctly identify & label the right side of the work vs. the wrong side.
- How to unknit (Tink) stitches one at a time to rescue one or more stitches/ rows without having to start again.
- When & how to create a lifeline
There is no homework or supplies needed! We will provide swatches, needles & necessary supplies to play & practice on. Please feel free to bring in a project with a mistake & we will happily walk you through a fix after the workshop.
