The worsted weight yarn was developed in Philadelphia in the early 1800’s & the tradition has continued. With a cool, retro put-up, Germantown is a highly versatile yarn that is perfect for durable garments & accessories.
Worked in the round from the bottom up, the pattern begins with the brim & a two-Color Latvian Braid. Knitting continues with a botanical–inspired colorwork section that finishes with a diminishing leaf pattern around the crown.
