Starting on Thursday, December 5, we will be knitting (& crocheting) the Bottle Cozy pattern by Valerie Teppo.
Be holiday party ready with this festive knit (& crochet) bottle cozy. The perfect presentation for a hostess gift, special wine present or New Year celebration, the bottle cozy may be customized however you like! For extra panache, add some sparkle with Lang Yarns Paillettes or Astra held along with the yarn. The cozy is also ideal for using up yarn remains.
This unique piece is both knit & crochet in DK weight yarn. The bottom of the cozy is crocheted using simple chain, double crochet & decrease stitches. When the bottom is complete, the stitches are picked up with double point needles & the body of the cozy is knit in the round.
Materials:
- 450 yards DK weight yarn
- Size US 4 double point needles + size US G crochet hook
