Inspired by moon light shines on the sea surface; Yakamoz mimics these sparkles with interrupted Garter ridges by slip stitches, and serves a triangular shawl. Yakamoz is the Turkish word for these sparkles on the sea.
Materials:
Spiral Grain Sport, 2 skeins for each color
shown in Blue Spruce as C1 & Elderberry as C2
Dimensions:
59”/150 cm sloped edge, 43”/109 cm straight edge, 39.5”/100 cm bind off edge
Needle:
US 4 / 3.50 mm circular or straight needles (any length to accommodate stitches); or size needed to obtain gauge

Construction Notes:
Yakamoz is a triangular shawl that starts from the tip with a small number of stitches and expands with increases on the left edge in all RS rows.
A Mosaic pattern is worked through the shawl until the last section; Garter ridge colors alternate in each section and a 2-color I-cord border is worked all around the edges.
