Craft: Knitting

This pattern is available on Ravelry(goes to new website)(opens in a new tab).

Tiera is a garter stitch shawl knitted top down and shaped with short rows. The top edge has a simultaneously knitted I-cord that hides perfectly the non-working yarn carried along.

Yarn

Fyberspates Scrumptious 4 Ply, 874 yds

The sample was knitted with Chester Wool Company’s Merino Silk Singles (70% merino, 30% silk, 400 m/100 g). The yardage is an estimate, the sample shawl used 94 g of colour A (light) and 92 g of colour B (dark).

If you run out of yarn, you can always knit the last section with a third colour. If you want to make the shawl bigger, add more rows to the border.
