Craft: Crochet
This lovely chunky blanket is crocheted on the bias (or corner-to-corner) and it is very adaptable. You can make a blanket of any size, no need to decide from the beginning, just make your decision as your project grows.
As the blanket starts from just one corner, you will find it works up very quickly. Perfect last minute gift.
You will be holding multiple strands to achieve a marled effect. For my blanket I gathered all my blue yarns - the more speckled the better and anything blue went in! I used Hedgehog Fibres Merino DK in Pucker for the colour pops.
You’ll need approx. 1000g of yarn in total, a combination of different weights. Scraps are ideal.
