Temu Cowl by Susana Lobos Garcia
Craft: Knitting
This pattern is available on Ravelry(goes to new website)(opens in a new tab).
For this design I used lace details and purls to simulate the gentle movement of tree branches in the wind. I imagine looking out the window at a peaceful landscape, waiting for the rain to come. A quiet afternoon while I work. The design is inspired by the trees in the south of Chile where I live, where it is usually cold and occasionally rainy. “Temu” is a word in the native Mapuche dialect.
