The Sunwoven Sweater was designed and inspired with the gorgeous work of Erin Barrett in mind. She is an extraordinary weaver. I wanted to create a sweater that had the look of one her weavings, but not the stiffness and bulk. That is how this sweater came to be! There is a lot of yarn mixing, which is my favorite. I love mixing yarns in this way because I think it really elevates the design to wearable art. The silhouette here is easy to wear with everything and surprisingly light and loosely knit because of the big needle size. Originally part of our fall 2018 knit along and now available as a pattern download to everyone!
