Craft: Knitting
The STRAIGHT CUT vest is knitted from the bottom up. First the back is worked in one piece along with the front panels, then the sections are split for the armholes and continued separately to the shoulders. For the shawl collar, the front pieces are worked to the width of the neckline and then sewn together at the centre back. The shoulder stitches are sewn together in Kitchener stitch, then the collar is sewn into the neckline.
Sizes
XS (S/M; L/XL; XXL/3XL; 4XL/5XL)
The sizes correspond to the bust circumference as follows:
XS (S/M; L/XL; XXL/3XL; 4XL/5XL) = 30 (32–35; 39–42; 46–50; 54–58)” (= 76 (82–90; 98–107; 117–127; 137–147) cm) bust circumference (measured on the body).
The vest has a loose, oversized fit with plenty of positive ease.
Example: If you have a bust circumference of 35” (90 cm), you should choose size S/M for a positive, oversized ease of 5.5” (14 cm).
