Craft: Knitting
Pattern Notes
Storyteller is knit from the bottom up in one piece. The hood is knit from the neck up and the garter rib border and cap sleeves are picked up and knit in the round. There is no sewing other than the shoulder and hood grafts!
Yardages listed are generous estimates. It’s always better to err on the side of too much yarn rather than too little. When in doubt, buy the extra skein for insurance. In worsted weight yarn you will need approximately 850 (900, 960, 1020, 1080) 1140, 1200, 1260, 1320 {1380, 1440, 1500} yards, with about 22% of the total yardage in Color B for the sleeves and borders if desired. If you choose to work the sweater in stripes with contrasting borders your yarn should be divided as follows: Color A=53%, Color B=22%, Color C=25%.
