This pattern is available on Ravelry.
The Statement Scarf was developed to be a quick-knit project with Malabrigo Mecha -- a glorious, squishy, garter-stitch scarf with one central cable to make a statement!
The scarf is worked flat with bulky yarn, making it a perfect project for a beginner who wants to branch into cables! It uses mostly garter stitch, with a cable pattern on a background of reverse stocking stitch. The cable instructions are both charted and written. It is written for one size (which uses almost exactly two skeins of Malabrigo Mecha!) but is easily adjustable to the amount of yarn you have.
Yarn is bulky-weight 100% Superwash Merino, and any bulky or aran-weight wool or wool blend should work up well as a yarn substitution!
This pattern has written instructions, and the stitch pattern is both written and charted.
This pattern also has an accessible large print option that is compatible with screen-reading software. This option includes only the written instruction.
The large print option is done in a sans-serif font with a minimum 24 pt font size, and all pictures included have alt-text enabled for screen-readers.
