Pattern notes

This shawl is worked from the top down.

The green (color A) and purple (color B) color changes are achieved by using the intarsia method. When changing from A to B and vice versa, be sure to bring the new color up and around the old color, putting a single twist in the yarns. This will prevent any holes from forming in the fabric.

Cut the C color at the end of every C stripe.

Errata

The stitch count at the end of row 10 should be 100, not 98. At each row after this point, stitch counts were off by 2 in the original version of this pattern.

Section 3, row 3 should read: With A k1, kfb, knit to 1 st before m, kfb, sl m, k2, sl m, kfb, k9, …

Section 2, Row 3 should read: With A k1, kfb, knit to 1 st before m, kfb, sl m, k2, sl m, kfb, k23, with B knit to last 3 sts, kfb, k2.

The last “sl m” instruction should be omitted. The same is true for Section 3 row 3. The color change is shifted 1 stitch over each RS row.
