Spouts
This pattern is available to download from Ravelry(goes to new website)(opens in a new tab).
Spouts wears like sculptural art, reminiscent of mountain folds, formed by a clever combination of knits, purls, yarn overs, and unexpected bind off and cast on maneuvers. Apart from being intriguing, this scarf maintains a sanguine sense of humor while imparting many a lesson about the exciting possibilities of shaping stitches off the beaten path.
This scarf, with instructions for using Peerie or Arbor, is worked in two pieces, each from the cast-on edge to the center. The pieces are then joined using the Joinery Bind Off. The Spout pattern may be worked either from a chart or from written instructions.
