The beautiful slip-stitch border complements the motifs sprinkled in this triangular shawl. Knit in Alegria, our fingering weight yarn, the fabric is satisfyingly springy!

Manos del Uruguay ALEGRIA (75% superwash merino, 25% polyamide; approx. 445 yds/100 g): 2 sks each of MC and CC.

US 3/3.25mm 24” circular needle and 2 double-pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

21 sts and 43 rows = 4”/10cm garter stitch, relaxed after blocking.

Notes

This triangular shawl begins at one corner and is worked upwards with increases at the end of every RS row. The diagonal shaped edge at the end of RS rows is the longest edge of the triangle.
