Craft: Knitting

The Quasar Sweater features all-over stranded colour work. This top-down pullover looks fantastic on everyone, regardless of gender or age, with its contemporary twist on the traditional Fair Isle patterning. With a seamless construction, your Quasar Sweater will flow off the needles, and shine brightly like its namesake.

Cumbria, our worsted weight yarn, provides a gorgeous palette of colours to combine in your Quasar and creates a smooth, beautifully finished fabric for this exceptionally wearable sweater.

The Almanac Series II

The Quasar Sweater is part of The Almanac Series II, which is a seasonal guide to knitting with The Fibre Co. yarns. Based on the original farmer’s Almanac guide to the seasons, this collection celebrates each month of the year with our Yarn of the Month and a new design launch in that yarn.

For The Almanac Series II, we looked to the heavens for inspiration. The beauty and grandeur of the night sky and awe-inspiring astronomical phenomena guided our creativity.
