Noro yarns embrace the Japanese philosophy of accepting & enjoying the non-uniformity, unevenness, & natural beauty of nature. All animal fibers spun into Noro yarns come from certified organic farms around the world. The yarns are as eco-friendly as possible with many processes still done by hand or on traditional machinery.
Rikka is a beautifully soft, bulky weight yarn spun with a gorgeous blend of wool, alpaca & silk. The thick & thin character of the yarn gives knits an intriguing texture & pleasing handmade feel.
The yarn is dyed in the Japan studio using the special method that gives Noro yarns their special color-changing, gradient & variegated hues. It is beautiful knit into sweaters, cardigans, accessories & throws.
