Ethically sourced mYak yarns are purchased directly from nomadic Tibetan herders.  100% traceable & naturally soft, the yarns are spun from the finest yak & sheep wool from the Tibetan Plateau.  The yarns are then spun in traditional mills located in the foothills of the Italian Alps where no decoloring or chemical processes are taking place.  mYak yarns respect the environment, fiber & source.  Baby Yak Medium is a wonderful alternative to cashmere & is spun into soft, heathered earth tones.  As warm as wool, this luxurious yarn is a treat to touch & will knit into exceptional garments & accessories.
