Craft: Knitting

This pattern is available on Ravelry.

Mountain Laurel is an asymmetrical scarf/shawl featuring easy eyelet mesh details. The interesting color affect is created by double-stranding a full skein of fingering-weight (Manos del Uruguay Fino) with a set of fingering-weight mini skeins (Manos del Uruguay Fino Mini Set). Mountain Laurel is relaxing knitting that’s still interesting, with color changes that keep you excited to see what’s next!

This pattern was originally part of the Spring 2021 Elizabeth Smith Collection with Manos del Uruguay/Fairmount Fibers.

Gauge:

16 sts & 30 rows = 4”/10 cm in St st after blocking, holding 2 strands of fingering-weight together*

Exact gauge is not critical but it will affect your finished measurement and yarn usage.

Yarn/Yardage

Main Color (MC): approx 390 yds of fingeringweight, shown in Fino by Manos del Uruguay (70% Extrafine Merino, 30% Silk; 100g = 490 yds), Tea Leaves, 1 skein.
