Two gorgeous yarns…one amazing cowl! Hand dyed Malabrigo Caprino (Super Fine Merino wool & cashmere) comes together with Blue Sky Fibers Prairie (Suri alpaca & baby Huacaya alpaca) in a beautiful union of yarns.
Ideal for all seasons, the piece may be worn as a voluminous cowl or draped over shoulders as a color block capelet. The cowl is knit seamlessly in the round & features alternating bands of garter & stockinette. The simple stitch pattern allows all of the texture & color variation of the yarn to really shine.

This yarn is dyed in lots of skeins. Any order greater than skeins will be mixed dye lots. Some colorways do not have dye lots. Our team will do their best to choose the best matching skeins for your order.
Artisan hand-dyed yarns have natural color variations from skein to skein. Our team will do their best to choose the best matching skeins for your order. Here are some tips to get the best results when knitting with hand-dyed yarns:
- Purchase enough yarn for your entire project
- Alternate skeins by knitting two rows from one skein, then two rows from another skein. This will help to blend color differences.
