24” / 60 cm circular needle, sizes 5 / 3.75 mm and 7 / 4.5 mm or size to obtain gauge

40” / 100 cm circular needle, size 7 / 4.5 mm (smallest sizes may omit this needle or use

Stitch markers (1 a different color for BOR)

Tapestry needle

Optional: 1–2 yards 2” / 5 cm wide elastic, 1 extra large safety pin for threading the elastic, and sewing needle and thread

20 sts and 28 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in St st using larger needle

21 sts and 28 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in (k2, p2) ribbing using larger needle
