Pam Allen’s Katla is a quick fix of colorwork perfection. Knitted in the round from the bottom up, this comfortably oversized pullover in Aran weight Osprey pays homage to a beloved, well-worn favorite.

YARN:Quince & Co. Osprey / 4 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9) skeins. Shown in Iceland 153 / 1 skein egret 101

NEEDLES:16" circular in size US 8 [5 mm] / 32" circular in sizes US 8 and US 11 [5 and 8 mm] / set dpns in sizes US 8 and 11 [5 and 8 mm]

GAUGE:13½ sts and 19 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch with larger needles, after blocking.

SKILLS REQUIRED:Long-tail and backward loop cast ons, stranded colorwork, wrap-and-turn short rows, three-needle bind off, picking up stitches (links provided), increasing, decreasing, cables, knitting in the round. Charts only.
