Kara Cowl by Mari Tobita
Craft: Knitting
This pattern is available on Ravelry(goes to new website)(opens in a new tab).
Mosaic knitting uses only one color per round, and the pattern is created with slip stitches and garter. If desired, place additional stitch markers between pattern repeats. When changing colors, drop the previous color and bring the new color under and to the right of the previous color. When slipping 4 sts, don’t pull the yarn too tightly across the back, lest the cowl pucker.
The chart shows only odd rounds; even rounds are always worked in the same color as the previous round, but they are purled instead of knit in order to maintain Garter stitch.
