Junction Fiber Mill Making Tracks Aurora Borealis

Surrounded by the lush forests & clear streams of White River Junction, Vermont, Junction Fiber Mill is an homage to the love of fiber. Founded by two friends (who also happen to be sheep farmers!), the mill is committed to supporting American wool growers, crafting authentic yarn & creating with passion. Junction Fiber Mill yarns are truly crafted for the wool lover!
Making Tracks is a covetable blend of Fine Merino, Targhee & Corriedale wool. Ideal for garments & accessories, the yarn blooms beautifully when blocked & knits into soft, warm & lofty pieces.
Wonderful for colorwork & mosaic patterns, the yarn has gradual color shifts. This is achieved by hand-dyeing the yarn before spinning multiple, colored strands together to create the unique color changing marl. Knit alone or pair with a solid for contrast.
*Please note: Due to the hand-dyed, artisan nature of this yarn there are no dye lots. There is also a wide variation of colors & transitions that are present in different skeins of the same colorway. We will match skeins in an order as well possible, but each skein is unique. Embrace the charm!
