This pattern is available on Ravelry.  

Janey was envisioned as an enduring wardrobe staple piece, striking the balance between comfort and elegance. Wear it as a Fall or Spring coat or layer it on in Winter when you’re curled up in your knitting chair. This sweater is all about the beauty of simple pattern repetition and minimal shaping which makes for very pleasant knitting.

Finished Bust Circumference: 34½ (37½, 41½, 44) (48, 52½, 56, 60)” with fronts overlapped about 7¾” to 9” depending on size

Cardigan Length: 27¼ (27½, 28, 28¼) (28½, 29, 29½, 30)”

Vest Length: 31¼ (31½, 32, 32¼) (32½, 33, 33½, 34)”

Cardigan shown measures 37½”; vest shown measures 44”.

Manos del Uruguay ALPACA HEATHER (70% wool, 30% alpaca; approx. 164 yds/50 g)

33 sts and 34 rows = 4”/10cm in pattern from Cable chart.

20 sts and 34 rows = 4”/10cm in Rev St st.

29 sts and 34 rows = 4”/10cm in k1, p1 rib, unstretched.

26 sts and 34 rows = 4”/10cm in Broken Rib.

Notes

The cardigan and vest share the same instructions for the back and fronts, except the vest has a longer lower body.

This garment is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed.
