Suggested yarn:
La Bien Aimée Merino DK
La Bien Aimée Corrie Worsted
both are used in this pattern

Gauge:
20 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches
in Herringbone Stitch in the rnd worked with larger needles
Needle size:
US 7 - 4.5 mm
US 11 - 8.0 mm
Yardage:
164 - 196 yards (150 - 179 m)
Sizes available:
Child Regular (Adult Small, Adult Large) Finished circumference (unstretched, post-blocking) 17.5 (19, 20.75)”

(C1) Color 1: 19 (21, 23) yards / 17 (19, 21) meters

(C2) Color 2: 145 (160, 173) yards / 132 (146, 157) meters

Note! I suggest using interchangeable needles which will allow you to use a smaller size LHN for the Herringbone Stitch sections. This will not affect gauge but makes the Herringbone Stitch easier to work.
