The chevron pattern of this cowl evokes the high mountain peaks of the Tibetan Plateau. The bold and bright colors of our Tibetan Cashmere are reminiscent of the colors of the lungta – little prayer flags you can find anywhere on the Plateau. Once the piece is joined together, it almost looks like a mandala , the spiritual and geometric symbol that is utilized to help people focus in on meditation and achieve a sense of oneness with the universe.

This pattern is good for all levels and designed with beginners in mind.

GAUGE:
25 sts x 46 rows = 4”/10 cm in regular
garter stitch after blocking.

NEEDLES:
US 6/4mm or needles to obtain
gauge, may use 20” circulars or
longer or straight needles.
US 5/3.75mm or smaller for picking up
live stitches on the provisional cast on at
end of project.
