Gaspra is a relaxed fit cardigan with an eyelet yoke and voluminous sleeves. This cosy sweater is designed by Natalie Warner and worked seamlessly from the bottom up, using short rows to shape the sleeve cap. Worked up in The Fibre Co. Cirro, this pretty cardigan is a light layer you’ll love to wrap up in on a cold winter’s day. 

YARN:

The Fibre Co. Cirro (40% Suri alpaca, 40% organic cotton, 20% Merino wool, 225 m (246 yd) per 50g hank) in shade Sublime 3 [4: 4: 5: 5: 6: 6: 7: 7] hanks. Our yardage given includes enough to knit an 8” x 8” tension swatch.

NEEDLES:

4.5mm (US 7) circular needles, at least 80cm (32 in)

5mm (US 8) 80 cm (32 in) circular needles (or size to obtain gauge)

5mm (US 8) 40-50 cm (16-20 in) circular needles (or size to obtain gauge)

5mm (US 8) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge)

TENSION/GAUGE:

15 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over yoke pattern after blocking using 5mm needles.

16 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over stocking stitch after blocking using 5mm needles.
