For insouciant style you can dress up or down, Freja is a quick knit with big impact. An open front with a swingy A-line shape and a textured shawl collar make this sculptural piece easy to throw on over any outfit, and in chunky Quarry it’s an ideal cozy overlayer. Add angled patch pockets for the perfect functional accent.

• 9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 14) skeins Brooklyn Tweed Arbor Lodge (100% American Targhee wool; 125 yards/100 grams)

1055 (1150, 1295, 1430, 1595, 1710) total yards of chunky weight wool yarn

Note: Yarn amounts are sufficient to make garment with or without pockets and with armhole edgings in either length.

13 stitches & 19 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch with Size A needle, after blocking

Size A (for Main Fabric)
One pair of straight needles or a 32" circular needle* and one 16" circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed
Suggested Size: 8 mm (US 11)

Size B (for Cast On)
One pair of straight needles or a 32" circular needle*, two sizes smaller than Size A
Suggested Size: 6 mm (US 10)

*Knitter’s preferred style of needle may be used.
