Manos del Uruguay MILO (65% merino wool, 35% linen; approx 100g/380 yds): 5 (5, 5, 6, 6) sks.

Shown in i2442 Prussian Blue.

Needles & Notions

US 6/4mm needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

US 5/3.75mm needles

Removable markers or safety pins

Tapestry needle

23 sts and 31 rows = 4”/10cm in Garter Ridge pattern using larger needles; 64 sts of back and front center panels measure 4½” wide using larger needles and after linking (see instructions).

Notes

This sweater uses a neat technique to create dimensional ‘embossed’ cables for the front and back center panels.

The back and front are both made in three pieces: a center panel with embossed cables and two Garter Ridge side panels.
