This casual yet stylish hat features an interesting purl pattern which gives the appearance of a beanie like fit. Designed by Martin Storey it uses our popular Felted Tweed Aran, a soft blend of 50% wool, 25% alpaca and 25% viscose.

Hat is worked with double-pointed needles in both sizes, or circular needles, in both sizes, at least 32” (80 cm) long.

Yarn used:
Rowan Felted Tweed Aran
Color 778 Seasalter - 2 balls for all sizes

Yarn Weight:
Aran (8 wpi)

Gauge:
29 stitches = 4 inches
in pattern stitch

Needle Size:
US 6 - 4.0 mm
US 8 - 5.0 mm
