This ultra–cozy hat in our chunky single-ply Puffin, sized from child to large adult, is adorable and a fun way to incorporate a little bit of color by way of a relaxed two-color seed stitch. Make a super cute winter accessory set by also knitting the Dot mittens.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
16 (18¼,20½)" [40.5 (46.5, 52) cm] brim circumference and 7 (8, 9)" [18 (20.5, 23) cm] tall; designed to fit head size kid (smaller adult, larger adult); shown in smallest and middle sizes

YARN:
Quince & Co. Puffin / one skein each in MC and CC / smallest size shown in Kumlien's Gull (MC) and Chanterelle (CC) / middle size shown in Iceland (MC) and Canvas (CC)

NEEDLES:
16" circulars in sizes US 10 and 10½ [6 and 6.5 mm] / set dpns in size US 10½ [6.5 mm]

GAUGE:
14 sts and 17 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in stitch pattern on larger needles, after blocking
