The Dandelion Hat is knit in a stitch pattern we’ve been crushing on for ages - what we call the dandelion stitch! The long strands of yarn create little flower-like shapes in your knitting. Complete with a giant pom pom and slouchy shape, this hat is sure to be your instant go to. We knit ours in Swirl color Day Dreamer and Daisy Chain Blue Jay.
Skill Level:
Beginner - Intermediate Knitter
Materials:
2 skeins of Daisy Chain or Swirl yarn (approximately 120 yards of yarn)
Yarn Weight:
Bulky (7 wpi)
Needle Size:
Size 13 16” long circular needles and one set of size 13 double pointed needles
Gauge:
10 stitches x 11 rows = 4” in stitch of pattern
Size:
One size fits average female head (22” in circumference)
Yardage:
115 - 120 yards (105 - 110 m)
