Craft: Knitting

Two yarn weights are combined using two needle sizes, in this playful textured mix of traditional striped coverup shapes.

CC (1, 1, 1) (2, 2, 2) skeins Uneek DK Cotton, shown in 1074

Needles

US 15/10.00 mm for Galatea rows,

US 8/5.00 mm for DK Cotton rows and side I-cord edges, straight or circular, long enough to accommodate stitches.

Notions

Tapestry needle, stitch markers as needed

Gauge

12 sts x 22 rows in Two Weight Slip Stitch, using both size ndls and MC and CC weights.= 4”/10 cm relaxed, after steam blocking.

Gauge is not crucial, but will affect dimensions and yarn usage.
