Craft: Knitting

A pattern featuring NORO yarn Sonata.

Mershon puts a graphic angle on the granny square. Her bell-sleeve pullover is worked top-down, with corner increases forming the raglan “seams.” SONATA’s saturated shades offer crisp contrast: Alternating with #23 Azalea, #31 Cherry Blossom, and #43 Chili, bright white #38 Snow is used continuously.

Sizes

Sized for Small (Medium, Large).

Finished Measurements

• Bust 40 (44, 48)in/102 (112, 122)cm.

• Length 20 (21¼, 22½)in/51 (54, 57)cm.

• Upper arm 20 (22, 24)in/51 (56, 61)cm.

Gauge

8 dc and 10 rows/rnds = 4in/10cm over dc patt using size US D-3/ 3.25mm crochet hook.

Notes

1) Work the gauge swatch flat in dc patt. This design is worked in granny stitch crochet in rnds from the neck down, with 3-dc clusters worked in between each 3-dc cluster of previous round.

2) When changing colors on every rnd, take care not to chain too tightly at beg of the rnd to avoid puckering and carry the B color without cutting on the WS.
