Craft: Knitting
Celebrating Manos color in a big way: a cozy, oversized sweater with an large central cable. The multicolor fabric is enriched by its subtle irregularities thanks to our handspun yarn, Wool Clasica.
MATERIALS
Yarn
Manos del Uruguay WOOL CLÁSICA (100% handspun wool; approx. 138 yds/100 g): 8 (8, 9, 10) (11, 12, 12, 13) sks

Needles & Notions
US 10/6 mm needles (may use long circular), or size needed to obtain gauge
US 9/5.5 mm needles (may use long circular) and 20” to 24” circular needle for neckband
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
14 sts and 22 rows = 4”/10 cm in St st using larger needles.
28 sts of Twist Stitch Cable measure 7½” wide using larger needles.
NOTES
This garment is worked in pieces, back and forth in rows, and seamed during finishing.
To avoid the colors pooling, work from two skeins at the same time, alternating between the skeins every two rows.
The Twist Stitch Cable panel may be worked from the chart or from the written directions in the Stitch Guide.
