Craft: Knitting

Nara V-neck cardigan is worked seamlessly from the bottom up to the top. A subtle check pattern is created by thin, knitted horizontal stripes and later on embroidered vertical lines in the contrasting color.

The cardigan is mainly knitted in stockinette stitch. Hemline and cuffs are worked in ribbing pattern, buttonhole and button band in garter stitch.

Back and front parts are knitted in one piece up to the underarms. The sleeves are then worked separately in rounds before they are joined with the body. Raglan decreases are worked up to shape the shoulders.

The short-fitted cardigan should be worn with no or only little positive ease. Example: If you have a bust measurement of 35“ (90 cm), then knit the cardigan in size M and it will fit tight with a positive ease of 0“ (0 cm).
