Bring some beautiful cool blues to your wardrobe with this gorgeous stranded colorwork hat & cowl set by designer Tanis Gray. The fun design has a touch of whimsy that is grounded by the corrugated ribbed edges & solid teal band of the hat. The hat is topped with a plush faux fur pom.
Both pieces are knit seamlessly, in the round & feature two colors of hand-dyed, Malabrigo Rios. Spun with 100% superwash Merino wool, the yarn has a soft hand & gorgeous stitch definition. The hat & cowl are knit in tonal Teal Feather, a rich, deep lagoon blue, & Cucumber, a light frothy cool green.
The hat & cowl may both be knit with 3 skeins of Malabrigo Rios.
The kit includes the following:
- 3 skeins x Malabrigo Rios (1 skein Teal Feather, 2 skeins Cucumber)
- 1 x Luxe Faux Fur Pom in color Classic #1
- A printed copy of the Carbonated Hat & Cowl pattern by Tanis Gray

This yarn is dyed in lots of skeins. Any order greater than skeins will be mixed dye lots. Some colorways do not have dye lots. Our team will do their best to choose the best matching skeins for your order.
Artisan hand-dyed yarns have natural color variations from skein to skein. Our team will do their best to choose the best matching skeins for your order. Here are some tips to get the best results when knitting with hand-dyed yarns:
- Purchase enough yarn for your entire project
- Alternate skeins by knitting two rows from one skein, then two rows from another skein. This will help to blend color differences.
