Craft: Knitting
This pattern is available on Ravelry.
Snowdrops - tiny, white flowers that robustly peep their way up through the lawn (and the occasional snow cover) in mid-February - always bring a smile to our faces and the knowledge that Spring is on its way. These were the inspiration for the use of the “Sprig” mosaic pattern, which echoes the snowdrop’s two linear leaves and petal cluster. The pattern, shown here in our sportweight Feliz, is silky and drapey - a lovely Spring accessory!
This asymmetrical shawl combines garter stitch with mosaic and slipped-stitch patterns. In the mosaic and slipped-stitch sections only one color is used for each row. This project can be made larger or smaller by working more or fewer rows in the last garter stitch section before binding off!
