The original pattern release included an earlier draft of the Allotment square which isn’t exactly the same as the square pictured. If you have already knitted this square then we would advise leaving it as is. Should you decide to reknit the square the updated Allotment pattern is now available in the PDF downloads. The original edging instructions have been updated to clarify that 4 sts should be picked up along each vertical edge. The original pattern erroneously gave 5 sts for every 6 rows over a small section of the edging.

Blocking is essential for this pattern.

If making the blanket for a baby or young child it should be backed with cotton jersey fabric.
