Craft: Knitting
This pattern is available on Ravelry.
Designed by Kate Gagnon Osborn, Bernadette is worked in pieces from the bottom up. The sweater features a deep ribbing at the cuffs and hem and an all over textured stitch pattern makes up the body and sleeves.
To make a nice clean edge for finishing when working the armhole shaping on both the body and sleeves, maintain the first and last stitch in stockinette, then work the pattern in between the two edge stitches as established, working partial repeats as the shaping dictates.
Once the pieces are blocked and seamed, stitches are picked up to work the neck.
