The cardigan is knit from the bottom up. Shoulders are shaped using the German short row technique and seamed with a 3 needle bind off.
Finished measurements
Bust (closed) – 44(48-52-56-60)” 112(122-132-142-152) cm.
Length – 25” (64 cm).
Note: This garment was designed with approximately 6 – 10” (15 – 25 cm) of ease. Please take this into consideration when selecting your size. The fronts of the cardigan overlap, making the sizing forgiving.
Materials
— 5(5-6-7-8) Hanks Amano Awa (100 grs), Shown in 1101 Q’olle Flower.
— Straight/circular knitting needle(s), size 6 (4 mm) or size to obtain gauge (plus extra needle for needle bind off).
— Stitch markers (4 removable).
— Stitch holders.
Gauge
23 sts = 4” (10.2 cm); 32 rows = 4” (10.2 cm) in St st.
