Get your favorite DK weight yarn ready! The Parasol Tee by designer Heidi Kirrmaier is a fun, summer project that is ultra wearable.
Heidi’s designs are always a wonderful & have easy to follow, well written instructions. Knit seamlessly from the top down, the three color tee has a flattering round neck & slightly dropped shoulders.
The first parts are knit flat, and then the sleeves and body are knit in the round. The neckline can be finished with either an i-cord or garter stitch edge. The pattern includes diagrams to help visualize the construction.
The T-shirt is intended to fit with approximately 3” - 5” of positive ease around the bust. The sample shown is size S2, 38” bust with about 5” of positive ease. The length of the body can easily be made longer or shorter (though keep in mind you may need additional yardage).
