Pretty much the perfect pullover, Nebula by Andrea Mowry is a go-to piece that can be worn all year & in a variety of climates. Andrea’s patterns are an absolute delight to knit, as they are simple yet interesting to knit & easy to wear.
Nebula is a fantastic piece that truly looks good on everyone! It is knit from the bottom up & features an attractive curved hem. With the ability to be dressed up or down, the pattern includes options for a long or short sleeve. The body of the sweater is worked in the round until the divide for the yoke. It is then finished flat with the shoulders seamed using a 3 needle bind-off. The sleeves are picked up & knit in the round.
We love this version of the Nebula knit in Madelinetosh Wool + Cotton (DK weight). Hand-dyed in Texas, this unique base delivers a soft mélange color when dyed because the wool picks up the dye color, while the Pima cotton remains white. Easy to care for, the blend of superwash Merino wool & Pima cotton is machine washable. The yarn delivers beautiful stitch definition & drape with the feel of a favorite t-shirt.
