Cozy & versatile, the Addilyn Capelet by designer Elizabeth Smith is a piece that delivers warmth & comfort. A garter drop stitch pattern gives the capelet a lovely textural character, while an asymmetrical, buttoned cowl neck keeps the capelet secure & wearable.
The Addilyn Capelet is worked in one piece from the neck down. Elongated stitches (from the drop stitch pattern) serve as buttonholes. The piece may also be worn as a cowl. Soft & woolly, the capelet is knit in Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky on size US 10.5 needles.
Ultra Alpaca Chunky is spun with gorgeous super fine alpaca & Peruvian wool. The bulky weight yarn knits up quickly into modern accessories & garments...a perfect mix of structure & softness.
