Starting on Thursday, October 3, we will be starting the Pressed Flowers Cowl by Amy Christoffers.
Part of Amy’s “Pressed Flowers” collection, this intriguing cowl features a two color design using just knits, purls & slipped stitches! There are so many opportunities to play with color. Use two high contrast solids to make the design really pop or choose a variegated or speckled hand dye as one of the colors for a creative take on the design.
The cowl pattern includes 3 different sizes, but can also be easily adjusted if desired. It is knit flat with the cast on edge sewn to the bound off edge in finishing to join in a circle.
Materials:
- Main color: 175 (250, 350) yards sport, DK or light worsted weight yarn
- Contrast color: 150 (200, 300) yards sport, DK or light worsted weight yarn
- Size US 6, 16”-24” circular needle (knit flat)
