Beatrice Perron Dahlen created a cabled masterpiece with Whimbrel. Bird-like cables take flight across the main body of this crescent-shaped shawl, transitioning into the plaited cable border, topped off with simple garter stitch. Knitted in wool/silk Tern creates a graceful, sweeping shawl to wrap around and within.

80" [203 cm] wingspan and 18½" [47 cm] deep at center

YARN:

Quince & Co. Tern / mist 413 / 6 skeins

NEEDLES:

32" circular in size US 4 [ 3.5 mm]

GAUGE:

23 sts and 30 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch, after blocking
