Alex Scarf by Pernille Larsen

Craft: Knitting

This pattern is available on Ravelry.

Alex Scarf is a simple ribbed scarf that can be knit up in a wide range of different yarn combinations, depending on desired look. The scarf is worked back and forth, from wingtip to wingtip, in a 2x2 rib pattern that will keep its shape well, both lengthwise and widthwise. You start from the first tip and work increases until you reach the full width of the scarf. From here, you continue even until shaping the other tip with decreases to mirror the first tip.

All three sizes follow the same shaping interval and are worked over the same number of stitches. Where only one number is given, it is applicable to all three sizes.
