This is a full-time salaried position starting at $70k. Benefits include healthcare,  40% store discount and performance related bonus.

Job Description for Retail Store Manager

• Manage retail team to deliver Wool & Co. elevated service metrics
• Accountability & ownership of retail team to consistently deliver financial & daily metrics
• Collaborate with marketing team to drive, develop & implement full store event calendar
• Drive top line sales through implementation of store events, training & execution of elevated service targets
• Create, support & maintain an exciting, creative, high energy store environment
• Actively improve bottom line profit contribution margin through efficiency & cost savings
• Engage in transparent, informational communication flow both up & down the management chain
• Communicate financial & service metrics to senior leadership
• Collaborate with senior leadership, as well as cross functional team leaders to identify opportunities & issues, then greenhouse to drive resolution
• Manage department scheduling to meet financial & customer service targets
• Grow & develop team efficiently to adapt to business needs
• Identify resource gaps & communicate proposals to senior leadership
• Actively develop, build & support positive team environment & corporate culture
• Recruit, interview & provide high level of onboarding for new cast members to promote strong work ethic, efficiency & long term retention
• Mentor employees & deliver yearly performance reviews
• Improve department retention & performance through training & incentive based programs

• Strong knowledge base of popular knit designers & trends
• Strong knowledge base of fibers, yarn & notion/needle brands

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft)
• Experience managing elevated brick & mortar retail store
