Wool & Co. is a fast-paced, growing purveyor of premium yarns, needles & notions for hand knitting. We are looking to fill a position with our Customer Experience team based in South Elgin, IL.
This is a part-time position starting at $15/hr. Benefits include 40% store discount.
This is an on-site position only.
Job Description for Customer Experience Specialist
- Respond to customer emails & phone calls regarding package tracking, technical knitting questions, yarn/needle recommendations, project color & design assistance
- Provide an elevated level of customer service
- Offer solutions that adhere to company guidelines as well as deliver strong customer satisfaction
- Process returns & exchanges
- Create special orders
- Communicate product availability, mixed dye lots, estimated ship dates & discontinued or missing products
- Maintain business organization & cleanliness
- Embody Wool & Co. core values & support the brand essence
Skill Set for Customer Experience Specialist
- Advanced beginner knitting skills preferred, as well as fiber, needles & notions expertise
- Friendly, approachable manner with strong written & verbal communication skills (especially listening to customers)
- Knowledge of premium yarn brands, needles & notions
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft)
- Comfort speaking on the phone
- Energetic, positive & upbeat
- Desire to solve issues & delight customers
- Competent, punctual & responsible with a high level of accountability
- Strong reading skills with the ability to focus on a single task
- Ability to work weekends & evenings, as well as some days
- Dependable
- Adaptable & able to work well with others in a team-focused environment
- Ability to adapt to change
